I was training for my second marathon when I decided I needed to cross train, and I hired a personal trainer. I was hooked; I loved lifting weights and feeling my muscles as they worked. When my trainer moved away, she encouraged me to become a trainer.

That was 14 years ago. I’ve learned a lot of life lessons over the years, about how people move, how people think, and how to motivate and connect with people every day. It has been a wonderful journey, and I wouldn’t trade a moment of it. I am so lucky that I get to do this for a living, and the most rewarding part is realizing I am making a difference in people’s lives every day, helping them become stronger, healthier, and more confident. I would love to be a part of your fitness journey too.

“I have always loved sports and movement.”  I grew up playing nearly every sport I could: soccer, sailing lessons, golf, tennis, swimming, water skiing, gymnastics, and running. I tried everything and I loved all of it.

I played soccer and ran track in high school, and my love of sport only grew. I loved running, and that was an activity that really stuck with me. I started by running on the golf course down the street from my house at dusk when the golfers were gone for the evening. I would run up and down the hills in the darkening light as fast as I could. Dusk is still my favorite time of day.
